ABOUT US
The Valley Youth Hockey Association (VYHA) is located at the Onondaga Nation Arena in Nedrow and Meachem Rink in Syracuse, New York. We offer a variety of programs for both boys and girls. For boys, we have Tier 2 travel teams; for girls, we provide Tier 1 teams and partner with the CNY Bobcats to host Tier 2 girls' teams. In addition to our travel teams, we also offer a range of house (Snowbelt) teams for both boys and girls.
We welcome participants aged 3 to 19 at all of these levels. VYHA is affiliated with USA Hockey and the New York State Amateur Hockey Association. Our Tier 1 girls’ programs are also National Girls Hockey League (NGHL) members.
In the 2025-2026 season, VYHA will join the Atlantic Hockey Federation, providing excellent opportunities for our travel teams. These competitions will feature true AA birth year teams, ensuring more competitive games.
Valley Youth Hockey was established to create opportunities for youth in Central New York.
